Our story
A hand up, not a hand-out.
We exist because arriving in a new country should not mean facing a legal system alone, in a language you do not speak, with no one to ask.
Our work pairs immigration legal services with the practical, human support that makes a case — and a life — possible: classes, counseling, translation, rides to appointments, and a welcome that does not depend on paperwork.
We are a lay organization that aspires to live the gospel message. That calling shapes how we treat every person who walks through our door: with love, respect, justice, hope, and joy.

Who we are
A program of the Center for Social and Rural Development Inc., recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice (OLAP) and supervised by a full-time licensed attorney.
-
Chapter two
Why we exist
Because too many neighbors are taken advantage of by unlicensed “notarios,” and too many families cannot afford a private attorney.
-
Chapter three
Who we serve
Low-income immigrants, refugees, asylees, DACA recipients, survivors of violence, and mixed-status families across Dallas–Fort Worth.
